Since its inception in 2005, HIRE LA’s Youth has placed over 28,000 youth in crucial first-time paid positions.

  1. Since July 2008, HIRE LA’s Youth 16-24:

  2. •Enrolled 2390 young adults

  3. •Secured work for approximately 1577 youth

  4. •Hosted Work Readiness Certifications for 1040 young adults

  5. •Awarded 646 Work Readiness Certificates to young adults who proved they were work-ready

  6. •Cultivated over 200 active business participants

  7. •Secured over 1600 job pledges from the private sector
