L.A. Youth at Work needs partners to help us serve youth by hosting:
Job Skills Workshops geared towards helping youth learn interview techniques, job retention skills, resume preparation, workplace ethics and skills needed to be successful in today's workforce.
Work Readiness Certification sessions encourage youth to participate in an interview process that mimics real-world hiring practices. This process demonstrates that youth have mastered the skills necessary to gain entry-level employment.
To become a host, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Complete our Host Interest Form
The L.A. Youth at work team will contact you to discuss the host requirements and the Partnership Agreement.
Step 2: Attend a Train the Trainer session
Step 3: Schedule a Job Skills Workshop and/or a Work Readiness Certification Session
Please note that you will need to sign-up to host an event a minimum of three weeks prior to your anticipated event date.
