L.A. Youth at Work (LAYAW), is an initiative to help L.A. youth obtain crucial entry-level job training and work experiences.

Through this, youth are empowered with the tools to obtain and retain meaningful employment, and to educate and encourage business to invest in their community by creating job and internship opportunities.

Over 9,000 youth placements

Over 150 private sector employer

Over 200 community partners

Hundreds of certified volunteers

Thousands of dollars in youth contributions to the L.A. economy
