Now that you’ve completed a Job Skills Workshop, you are ready for the next step: the Work Readiness Certificate (WRC) interview.
What is the Work Readiness Certificate interview?
The WRC interview is a mock job interview conducted by a volunteer professional to determine whether or not you are work-ready. For some, this will be their very first interview. Treat this opportunity as you would a real one. Afterwards, our volunteer will give you an assessment of your performance, as well as any tips for improvement. Once you have successfully completed the interview and received the certificate, you will gain access to our curated list of job opportunities and be given priority to apply!
Follow these steps to earn your certificate.
Register for an interview date:

- RSVP online - (Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the job application. This application must be typed and completed in full prior to the interview.
- Stand by for an appointment - (Several days prior to the interview, expect an email containing your interview time.)
In preparation for your interview date:

- Arrive early - 15 minutes prior to your appointment time is sufficient.
- Dress the part – Make a good first impression by dressing professionally. See some guidelines here.
- Bring necessary documents – A typed application and error-free resume are musts. (Don’t have a resume? Use our template to create one.)
